Generate Good Energy
For Your Home

Future-proof your home and never worry about heating bills again with an Air Source Heat Pump.

WHY MAKE THE SWITCH?

Get cleaner, more affordable heating and hot water with an Air Source Heat Pump

UP TO 4 X MORE EFFICIENT THAT A GAS BOILER

An ARC installed system is guaranteed to reduce your energy bills, even on the coldest winter day.

An air source heat pump takes the free air from outside your home and turns it into energy to heat your rooms and water. Designed to work in temperatures as low as -20 degrees celsius, they act as a more sustainable and cost-effective alternative to traditional heating systems.

CUTS YOUR CARBON EMISSIONS

Switching from a traditional gas boiler to an air source heat pump is one of the most effective ways to cut your carbon emissions. More effective than driving an electric vehicle or quitting flying. If the system is powered by renewable energy, your carbon emissions go all the way to zero.

It’s a convenient but powerful way to make sustainability a reality, without having to forego a cosy and comfortable home.

GOVERNMENT GRANTS TO REDUCE UPFRONT COSTS

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme gives eligible homes a grant of up to £7,500 to replace a gas boiler with a clean energy heat pump, or up to £9,000 for an oil or LPG boiler. To qualify for the grant you must live in England or Wales, own the property and be completely replacing a fossil-fuel heating system.

To make the switch as hassle-free as possible, we’ll advise you on your eligibility, apply for the grant on your behalf and deduct it from your quote.

INCREASES THE VALUE OF YOUR HOME

As energy bills increase, the energy efficiency of a home is becoming an important priority to potential buyers.

A peer-reviewed study of English homes found that properties with an EPC rating of A or B sold for a premium of up to a 5%. Homes with a C rating sold for a premium of up to 1.8%. There has never been a better time to invest in the energy efficiency of your home.

Expert Installation
For Maximum Benefits

System design and installation is key to getting the most out of your new energy system. Even the best home energy system won’t perform if it’s not installed right. We always carry out a complete home energy assessment so nothing is left to chance. We are an MCS-accredited installer and test and commission all our systems. We will then make sure you are comfortable operating your new system, remove and dispose of your old boiler and of course, leave your home as immaculate as we found it.

FAQ'S

An Air Source Heat Pump is an eco-friendly heating system that works like a refrigerator in reverse, pulling warmth from the outside air to heat your home and your hot water. They are highly efficient and can produce much more heat energy than the electrical energy they consume, often operating at over 350% efficiency. They move existing heat rather than burning gas or oil, helping to reduce your home’s carbon footprint and they are suitable in all weather, extracting useful warmth from the air even when outdoor temperatures drop below freezing

Most UK homes are already suitable. Modern outdoor units are more compact and can sit comfortably on a driveway, in a garden or down a side alley. The indoor unit needs around 1.5 - 2m² of floor space and we will usually install it in a utility room, garage or attic. If your home isn't suitable or will require additional upgrades like new radiators, we will tell you honestly in your free home assessment.

A standard air-to-water Air Source Heat Pump installation can typically cost around £9,500–£15,000. However, the amount you pay can be reduced by between £7,500 - £9,000 where Government grant funding is available. Under the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS), the grant is deducted from the installer’s quotation at the point of sale, so you simply pay the remaining balance.

Each project varies slightly but a straightforward installation can usually be completed within a week including testing and commissioning.
